Below are instructions to add your Youtube Account to your discord account. If you are a LogicBand member, this allows you to see and access the channels just for Members on the discord server. There are instructions to do this both on MacOS and iOS.
On The Mac
- Open up the Discord app and press Command Comma to access settings.
VO Right past User Settings to where it says “My Account selected tab”, and down arrow to the Connections tab then VO Space to select it.
Tab to the YouTube button and VO Space on it. If the Youtube button isn’t visible, VO Space on the “Add New Connection” button. Once you VO Space on “Add New Connections” then Tab to and VO Space on the Youtube Button to connect your YouTube account to your Discord account. This will open a new browser window where you can log into your YouTube account.
After logging into your YouTube account you should get a message stating you’ve successfully connected your accounts. You can close that window and return to discord.
You can find the close button below where it should now show the Youtube account you connected. VO Space on that close button to Close the settings and return to the main discord window.
In the discord mobile app, From the tabs across the bottom of the screen, select the”you” Tab.
Find and Select the settings button.
Find and select the “add” button (VoiceOver may read it as “Add, Back” Button)
Find and select the Youtube button. You will be taken to a browser window where you can sign into your Youtube account.
After signing in successfully, And you get the message that you can close this window, click the “Done” button at the top of the window to return to the connections page in the discord settings. You can now use the back button to go back to the first page where you originally selected settings. From there you can use one of the tabs at the bottom of the screen to return to your list of servers or messages etc. Select the server tab for example to be able to see the LogicBand server and its list of Channels again.
