Check out Q&A 3 here

We start out with a demonstration of how to duck audio while there’s spoken word playing. I show how you can use a compressor to bring down the backing music while the narration track is playing.
Also if you want to put all the music tracks in a track stack, you can do so following this tutorial.
Next up, we’ll discuss how to use the level meter to see the LUFS value of your music.
The discussion then turns to Punching In and Out and how to use it correctly. Unselecting Marquee selection as well as The best way to organize your projects are also discussed.
Up next, we talk about using Main Stage vs Logic when performing live on Stage, The difference between a Digital Mixer and a control surface, and which surface to consider if you want a control surface.
We then discuss all the options for tuning vocals, How to use the Isotope Suite of Plug ins that include Mixing/Mastering assistance to get your mix started, Where to place them on things like guitar tracks, how you can load them across every track in your project and how many effects you can add to a track in Logic are all answered.
We wrap up with a discussion of some of Logic’s plug ins, namely the enveloper and expander, among others. We also talk about the flexibility of the Logic Drums and drummer and their pros and cons vs third party options.

Hi Steve, For our hangout today, is it possible to achieve an Autoduck feature in Logic Band, like the one available in Audacity please? I have 2 tracks, one with spoken word, the second is the music bed track.
I would like the music to go softer every time the speech is going on, coming up only when there is a gap in the spoken word track.

    Thank you.

    Hatch.

Very cool. I looked in Spam and didn’t see such a thing. Maybe I need to set something up here on my profile?
