Check out Q&A 1 here

The Q&A Starts out with introductions and a discussion about recording guitar and the accessibility of the spark amp.
Next we’ll talk about automation, which is covered in a couple blog posts using one or two points and showing how to automate a track parameter, an effect parameter, and fading out your song. Our conversation however is around automating with a control surface and the difference between touch, latch and write modes.

There was also a discussion on how useful a control surface can be for a blind user and what I’ve been testing lately for a control surface with spoken feedback in the softube Console 1.

We also touch on the usefulness of VoiceOver Commanders, Keyboard Maestro, and bouncing in place or recording a software instrument to an audio track if you want to treat it like a hardware synth set up.
We also discussed dealing with technology getting in the way when you just want to create music and ways to tackle that including having a template that you can start a project from, including what you may want to consider for your template and the mindset to approach this template with, so you can get up and working quickly.
Next we’ll talk about what’s needed to get started making beats in Logic Pro. The musical typing Keyboard as well as a tutorial path to follow to get up to speed making beats, including the Introduction to Beat Making and Exploring Loops And chopping Samples in the members area.
There is also a discussion on monitoring levels in which we talk about everything from using hotspots to the accissible Meters which uses sounds to let you know when you are approaching certain levels, and even a discussion on the future of Flogic.
