This is an excerpt from q&a #10, and explains what happens when navigating in the Piano Roll and you delete an event. Keep in Mind that The BackSpace key, the one at the end of the number row, is what MacOS calls the delete key. THe one I refer to as the delete key in this tutorial is the one found on a full size keyboard to the left of the end key (which MacOS refers to as forward Delete). If you are on a laptop you can press FN Backspace for the same Functionality.
